fascinating.

amazing how many day to day products we use that use a part of a pig.
soap and toothpaste full of meaty goodness.

So glad that I learned the products that contains pork 20 years ago and then some . So I use the same products day in and day out to avoid the pig questions...

Whats so funny about not wanting to eat pork? I stopped eating pork years before I became muslim, I just wanted to know so the effects would not continue hurting my body..thank Allah.

I dont think my mum realises her expensive Royal Dalton fine bone china set (100s of pieces) is haram. I really dont know what she'll do - will ask her later on..

Yes, pig meat is really bad for your body. That's why if you look at natives in remote parts of the world who have pork as the main part of their diet are all desperately ill and dying. Or.....they are super fit hunting machines that would put 99% of people in the world to shame for their low level of fitness and health.

So, do you care to enlighten us about these fantasy illnesses that pork apparently causes?

You can get around most of these pig obstaces especially in the area of food. Once a product says suitable for vegetarians then there will no animal products. Eg. vegetable gelatin, vegetable E numbers, etc. Same with soaps and toothpaste there are vegetarian options.

But what if your only chance to save your child or parent, or wife or whoever's life was to use a heart valve taken from a pig's heart would a strict Muslim consent?

Knowing Islam is the only true religion we do not allow propagation of any other religion. How can we allow building of churches and temples when their religion is wrong? Thus we will not allow such wrong things in our countries. - Zakir Naik
