So what is cooking here? what Tastiest meat are you guys cooking?  what does Book of Allah say on that?? what else people of that time used to eat along with  Tastiest meat ?    What Quran says on that??

So to eat that Tastiest meat we need some bread along with it don't we??
And what kind of bread did people made from Middles East during that time??
what type of grain people used to make Bread  during 6th and 7th century?

So many questions to answer. this link  http://www.everydiet.org/1011/the-history-and-types-of-bread  gives something but.. but I want it from Quran., So I wonder friends here know anything about that.

So what kind of grain people used to break bread during that time and even to day?? ANy help from friends??

Let me put same grain pictures here

Whole-grain Buckwheat., so it is wheat

    that is for Corn Bread

So called Amaranth., Quite famous in Asia

That is Farro,  an ancient Italian grain that is similar in taste to barley

that is Flax  seed., it is a plant native to Europe and Asia that is grown for its fiber or its seeds.

Any more help for me to make bread from different type of grain  and eat ALONG WITH THE TASTY MEAT in this thread?

with best wishes to you all

    Gotta be lamb.

Chicken. Then bacon. Then lamb. Don't eat any other meat at all really, and to be honest, I only occasionally eat bacon / pork or lamb. I tend to eat a lot of chicken though.

I'm so sick of chicken.  It's the cheapest meat in the UK, I find anyway, hence it gets cooked most often at my place.  But I'm sick of it.  wacko

By the way, in the Tastiest Meat poll, you left out BerberElla, which is a shame, I'd have voted that above chicken thigh all the time.

Turkey, then chicken, then lamb. But most of all I love fish. Especially sushi, shark and squid.

It's hard to say. I love chicken and pork but it does depend on how it's been cooked and some other factors. Beef is a bit hit and miss with me.

lol, I never met a Muslim vegetarian before. According to Zakir "pubes for a beard" Naik, being vegetarian is ok, but some hard liners say it is imitating the kuffar Roll Eyes

I used to be a vegetarian muslim Tongue Was one for nearly 3 years. Started eating meat again a few months after my apostasy due to pressure as everybody ate meat. There were a few other reasons too.

Anyone here think lamb is just "okay"?

Me! Don't really find it that tasty, I love lamb chops though.

What a strange list of options.
I wonder if it reflects American food taboos.

I don't see some kinda common types of meat like: rabbit, horse, donkey, frog ^_^

My vote goes for pork, anyway.

I have yet to try boar, though.
I've heard it's the uberleet version of pork.

That's strange, here in Vancouver chicken is quite a bit more expensive than both beef and pork...

From a comparative costings perspective this makes little sense?  Are you sure?

Mine is lamb. Although more recently, I'm having as much pork as I can and I'm loving it. My favorite breakfast is pork sausages with eggs and baked beans. My favorite cold sandwich is either BLT or Ham and mustard (preferably an Upper Crust baguette). I also love baby back ribs. So who knows if you had waited a year and then asked, I probably would chose pork.

BTW, anybody tried venison? is it expensive? where can I get it?
In Iraq, we were told that Saddam used to eat a lot of venison so I've always imagined it as the tastiest most expensive meat out there.

You see, I told you that you would enjoy pork! Just one week ago you weren't looking forward to those microwave pork meals and now you like it grin12

I wasn't looking forward to them not because they were pork but because they were microwaveable. BTW, my love with pork sausages is not exactly new. It started months ago when I stayed at the Premier Inn for a week. Every single day, my breakfast was sausages, bacon, beans and eggs.
