    Because if you want others to listen to you, you should do them the courtesy of listening to them.

    It might not be such a bad thing to be a genius.
    In fact I think you must be one because any genius would know better then let any one kiss their butt. You have shown that knowledge so YES you are very likely a genius. Just go with it. Much easier then endles arguing.

    I dunno, man. I usually resort to ignoring as a last resort, most likely in response to people who show no attempt in considering anyone else's opinion anyway. Or if they never have anything interesting to say and continue to shit on any differing opinion. I don't think it's childish to disregard someone who shows no regard for the POV of others.

    I guess that would just be my opinion. For the most part it has to do with bacteria and other micro organisms that I wouldn't want in my mouth.
    Never can tell what some else will go for and never give it a second thught. Well and appearently find quite good fun at times.
    Always some intersting thing to find out, exactly why I don't like the ignore feature.  Just better to say "Well. okay that is what we can agree to disagree about." The is just how that is.

    There has only ever been one time that I have wished there was a way to ignore a member, not just the way the function is on here, but the way it exists on facebook.  So that the person just ceases to exist in my eyes, instead of seeing them with their mouth moving, but not being able to see the words.

    Thats torture because then you have to see, or at least i have to see, which is why I never use the ignore feature on forums cos it sucks, its pointless.

    Oh you can do that easily enough. All it requires is setting the conditional on the post wrapper instead of the content.

    I wouldn't use it because I don't need to be saved from myself.
    Most people who are talking about using the ignore feature don't seem to realize that they are saving from themself not the other person so they'd not want to use it.
    Perhaps people should have an option what mesage appears when they are ignoring some one.
