    While we're playing there can be a feature that lets us know who is ignoring us. We can temporarily be some one else and post stupid stuff to them and then they have to guess which one of the people they are ignoring did it.

    How about I code it up so that whenever you're looking at a post it asks you really annoying questions about random Bible verses. bunny

    K I've got it figured out. It's not going to completely vanish the entire thing, but it is going to hide all the post content and user details, so all you will see is an anonymous box between posts you aren't ignoring.

    Said anonymous box will contain a button labelled "Resume viewing", and this button will have a tooltip on hover which says "Don't do it. You'll be sorry". grin12

    There will also be static text next to the button saying "You really do not want to see this post. This person drives you crazy."

    This is good enough methinks. Anyone who can't cope with that needs therapy, not better coding. Tongue

    ROFL. Is kinds good innit? It's another Royo of course. I made that one ages ago for one of our shy members (ie: not Berbs) who wanted an avatar. She was too shy to use it. Grin

    I just added it on the test site so I could get a better look at how the member info displayed.

    I think we really do need a visible option to stop ignoring, because it is going to be handy at times. For instance, if a staff member has someone on ignore and one of the posts is reported we would want a way of accessing it from the report, without having to go and screw around in the depths of profile settings.

    Well, you know Zaiba it is their loose. They are the one that does not get the advantage of seeing your angle on the subject. They are the closing their mind. If a person is to outragous to be on this forum the mods can just ban them.

    I think the "new ignore feature" was just a joke. If you look back at the thread there was a lot of joking going on. Except about Yeezevee 99% was made up and the other 99% was make believe because his a zebra. But other then that there was a lot of silliness going on. Do you know the expression, "take it with a grain of salt" ? Well, that day maybe everything needed some extra seasoning.

    Oh hiya Lynna, (I just remembered  I still need to contact you soon for a one to one for one of my modules)

    LOL, actually 4 people have me on ignore, and in the beginning it bothered me a lot, cause I'm heavily dependent on what people think of me, and it is an essential need for me to be liked/loved, but now I try to just brush it off and see it as if it's "their loss" but sometimes the annoying lil thought bugs me that maybe I do deserve to be ignored, I mean I don't have anything useful to say most of the time, I just leave my footprints all over the forum with my silliness. Anyhow, it seems you were right, the new ignore feature was just a tester and I really wanted to check it out, but oh well. Shame, cause it looks fun.

    Does anyone know how to view if you've actually accidentally put someone on ignore. Searching for person on Guess who thread I thought about it, because it so easy to click ignore when you're just trying to click to the page for post/threads of the person. I haven't had use for ignore function...but as its easy to click on the ignorebutton...how do u know and how do you remove it?
