Even a chaperone may not be enough.
I thinnk the chaperone matters, no one would have risked trying to grope me if my uncles from my father's side were the chaperones. I tried one of my step mums brothers as a chaperone, but ended up getting into a fight myself because they were so puny and unable to defend me when some guy tried to grope me another time.
Another cousin of mine, paternal side came from nowhere and smashed a rake into the mans face who had was trying to pin me against a wall, infront of the puny uncles.
Pretty scary actually, I was 17 at the time.
Once (during Ramadan, too) some guy grabbed one of my breasts in the street (which was crowded). I grabbed the hand and hit it with my other hand, but I'm sure he didn't feel much. I felt so silly afterward, but yeah, there isn't much else I could have done.
Same as, 13, on the way to the market, before I learned to take a chaperone everywhere. Then in apology he started trying to touch me everywhere else, saying sorry each time.
Yeah, I only see it occasionaly in clubs, that's what I meant. But that's more than the zero times I've seen a hijabi get groped. And yeah that's only in the uk.
Wait, some random guy orgasmed all over your aunt's back? On a bus? You gotta be kiddin' me.. could everyone tell what he had done or was it only until afterwards did you notice a giant stain on her back?
No idea if anyone else knew, we just knew when we got off the bus and saw it on her back, and she connected the sick and twisted dots.
