    About 25 rare folkloric Iraqi songs my dad got from his friend. I need to convert them to mp3 so that he can play them in his car.

    I'm not on Windows, but I guess VLC could convert them.

    Didn't do it. It only converts to .ps

    Didn't work either. What you've done is more than enough so don't inconvenience yourself anymore. I will look through my program collection CD-by-CD. I am sure I have it on one of them.

    Try SuperAVConverter, or PepSky AIO. They worked for me.
    Or even better, if you have RealPlayer (I would guess you do) there should be a 'Burn to CD' option or something which I remember using, not sure if they dropped it from new versions or made it commercial add-on.
