    Wtf man, this can't be true. Dolls are fun to play with when you're a kid! When I was a kid I never played with dolls other than taking off their clothes, but I used to have a sexual attraction to girly dolls and that's why I liked them. And I'm not the least bit gay!

    Is this stereotype true or not?

    I'm just curious if there's any truth to it or not...

    I did like playing with Legos though, so may be its true (that straight men play with trucks and build houses with Legos and girls play with dolls), but at the same time i loved staring at dolls and stuff.

    My eldest son actually chose to buy a barbie in nursery as his reward, and from what I can see about him aged 11 he doesn't appear as if he may be gay when he is older, but then if he was that wouldn't bother me.

    I think it's about the exclusivity of the toys chosen, that is the key, not if they play with dolls sometimes.  A boy who only chose to play with dolls, and insisted on girly toys all the time could have gender issues.  (I know one such child)

    I believe a guy is gay when he likes other dudes in a sort of romantic or sexual way. Correct me if I'm wrong.

    Only time I played with a doll as a kid is when I used to sneak into my sisters room and undress the barbies and make them sleep together in the same bed. So I guess as a little boy I had lesbian tendencies.. Grin

    No it's true that boys who want to kiss other boys and fall in love with them are usually gay.  Dolls ain't got shit to do with it.

    I played with dolls a lot. And tried on my mum's high-heels and dresses a lot. It used to annoy my dad because he thought my mum was encouraging me to dress like that, but I think it was gender confusion back when I was little. I think it softened the blow when they found out I was gay because they knew it long before even I knew it.  Cheesy

    I should probably clarify that I no longer wear my mummy's high-heels...

    Used to play with teenage ninja tutrle dolls, Robin Hood dolls and a few McD's kids meal ones that included a few from the Little Mermaid. The only female character I had was Ursula. I used to watch the Little Mermaid quite a bit too, and Care Bears. I'm straight.
