  • Problem with my Firefox
     OP - January 01, 2010, 08:02 AM

I have this strange problem with Mozilla Firefox. I can't view any Youtube videos (or videos on any other website) on full screen mode. When I try the whole screen goes black. I still can hear and pause the video it's just that I can't see anything.

It should be noted that I can view videos with Internet Explorer just fine. I also can view DVD movies and other clips on full screen mode with Media Player and other programs just fine. So the problem is exclusive to Firefox.

    Many thanks in advance.

Try uninstalling Firefox and performing a clean install with the latest version. Make sure you backup bookmarks passwords  and such if required (get MozBackup here : http://mozbackup.jasnapaka.com/).
When done install Flash Player 10 on top.

Not sure if it will work in your case but it usually does (I assume that your problem is Flash related).

I've just updated my Flash Player and the problem is solved. Thanks.
