     OP - December 17, 2009, 12:31 PM

    http://edition.cnn.com/2009/TECH/12/16/super.earth.discovery/index.html

They found a planet similar to earth in that it is water-rich and has similar geographic conditions as earth (?).  And it is about 10 times the size of earth, hence is called 'super earth'.

I wonder if it has any human or alien life. And if so, what kind of BS scientific miracles in quran they will come up with this time to prove it  Roll Eyes.

Compared to names like jupiter, orions belt and the milky way, it's still an epic fail in creativity lol.

Not to mention the 'classified as super-Earth' bit. So cliche.

On the other hand, the article says it 'probably' does have water, not a definite statement.

Lol - thats probably just its co-oardinates or something.  I am sure they will name it, its just been discovered so they need to go through all the procedures before naming it.. I dont think its that simple to put a name on something so important..

To make it easier for our overlords to take over. I mean, seriously which of the Two aliens sounds more business?

"We are Chris Deberg From planet Venus, we have come to take over so bend over."

    or,

"We are Borg, from Galaxy XC7 T2 L1, from planet GJ 1214b, do not resist, resistance is..hmm.. donuts."

"Ask the slave girl; she will tell you the truth.' So the Apostle called Burayra to ask her. Ali got up and gave her a violent beating first, saying, 'Tell the Apostle the truth.'"
