     OP - December 09, 2009, 01:58 PM

And if you look Arab/Muslim it would be a bonus, as you will be less likely to be abducted

I never said that. Must have been a mix-up.

Yeah, but from what I understand most of the kidnappings are relatively non-violent and the abductees are treated as guests until ransom comes or they figure out no ransom is coming-- at least that's what I've read from a few people who written about their kidnappings in Yemen. Said the kidnappers were wicked friendly and hospitable, and there wasn't much need to use force once they had them in some place way out in the desert that they had no idea how to find there way back from.

    What's your take on it?

    fuck you

Some of the abductors can be quite friendly, specially if they just wanted to put some pressure on the government officials to get something like releasing a jailed person of their tribe or a ransom or whatever thing that they happened to want. They usually treat them like a guest, and free them once they get what they wanted or have it sorted out in another way. But it sometimes gets bloody like the latest one where the hostages were reported killed, but it's a rare case.

I think it's a stupid thing to do regardless of what their grounds are or despite how nice they are being to the hostages, they are still called hostages, and it's not a pretty situation to be in. It just gives Yemen a bad name more than it already has.
I remember I was in Germany when the abduction of the seven Germans occurred. Nobody remarked about it when I tell them I'm from Yemen, but I felt embarrassed nevertheless.

I used to watch his Lives of the Prophets and Ahkira series which was recorded in 2000-2001. In 2000, he was a normal guy, now he is something else.

Actually infidel I have a friend in Yemen and I've been meaning to ship this package to him, but FedEx and UPS have outrageous prices. Mind delivering it for me? I don't think it'll be too much problem for you to take it on the plane. It's a medium sized box which occasionally makes a beeping noise.

Back in Yemen  Smiley, and apparently this site works, and to my amazement el7ad.com (ArabAtheistNetwork) and almost every other anti-Islam site are not blocked either, which I suppose should have been detected long time ago. Guess the guy responsible for doing the blocking is a closet  Roll Eyes, cuz even anti-government sites are blocked.

I'm pretty sure that there is more than one guy doing the blocking.

Yeah I figured that too, but I am too puzzled why they didn't block these sites  Huh? . I mean they block everything you could imagine (Porn/anti-government/proxy sites/etc.) but these somehow missed their radar. It's just wicked, and I actually remember at least one of these being blocked, but not anymore.

Anyhow I am glad I can access them for the 3 weeks I am here  whistling2

Just make another account on ummah.com called "SalafiWarrior" or "IslamROX", something like that. And use that account to make insanely fundamentalist and extremist posts explaining to people how Darwin was actually a jinn and that Anwar Awlaki should be the Caliph. That will sufficiently confuse the authorities and you can blame your CEMB activities on your little cousin Hammoudi.  Bulletproof. cool2
