I just found out that an aunt of mine is 8 months pregnant (my youngest aunt, she isn't married).
She packed all her stuff and left secretly.
Another aunt knew about it and she has just told the family...
My dad and my uncles are furious... =P

Maybe she deconverted too! =D
I NEED to contact her but I don't know how... =(

Anyways... Needed to yell that to "someone"... Going to bed... bye xD

I remember my shock when I first heard about something similar happen to my dads frieds daughter when she was 16. It was unheard of at the time..

My god! Is she in any danger at all?

I remember there was a family who were friends of my parents, and their daughter disappeared for a few months, and when she came back, her parents had adopted a baby girl. I wonder what happened there!

Which country is she in? Maybe you could speak with the aunt who broke the news to the family who may know where she is? She probably needs all the help and support she can get right now.

My aunt said she went to Tetouan (city in Morocco) with him to secretly get married, but they said that she can't marry without one parent witnessing it...
I think she's still with him...

She's still in Holland (for as far as I know).
I just went to my aunt and she says she doesn't know where she is either...
She knows that I'm not like my uncles since I'm the Amnesty International activist in my family... xD
But I still have a feeling she's hiding some info (understandable).

I don't think she's in danger...
Moroccan families usually don't kill family members for something like this.
But she lost 99% of her family and there's nothing she can do to change that.

About the marriage thing.
from what I know about the system in morocco. It's no longer obligatory to have one parent to testify.
It's okay to marry without one of your parents permission.

does islam say anything about marriage i.e. that a parent is required to testify (just wondering where the custom of arranged marriages came from)
