They may be requiring comments to be approved before they display. Keeps the nutters somewhat under control.

When you click on the post button, does the button text change to 'comment posted'? there has been some problems recently with the forum itself.

Sometimes you need to refresh (F5) after submitting your post, so you can see it in the comments rather than jus the text entry box

I saw the comments appearing initially.

On refresh they went away :-(

I allow all comments without approving them (though I very occasionally remove those that are just too sick if I see it - but tbh I don't have time to check them all these days.)

So I guess it must be a problem with Youtube itself. It happens a lot. I have no idea why a big company like Google can't have a better and smoother system - but there ya go!

Try again in a bit and it will have all magically cleared up I suspect
