Guys, do any of you keep fit? What sports do you do? I enjoy running myself and try to get in about 3-4 miles 4-5 times a week.

I'm a runner as well. I do the occasional 10k race but haven't gone for any longer distances. I also cycle a bit. Last year I rode from London to Cambridge. Very sore afterwards!

    Not a lot these days.

I used to pride my self in being fit and healthy and used to play football every Sunday with a bunch of Muslim mates.

Leaving Islam has made me lazy and I'm getting a fat belly!

Swimming and drumming are my things!  Ironically it was being a Muslim which got me into swimming on a regular basis as I was bound and determined to stay fit and not become a fat housewife during my time as a hijabi.  And no, I did not ever wear a burkini!

You have a natural high metabolism. I used to deal with people like you while I was working at a GNC for three years.

Up your calories to like 2500 and eat a lot of fast carbs. (potato, white rice, white bread, sugar etc.) with each meal and eat 3 meals a day instead of 6. That'll slow down your metabolism a little and help you gain the weight.

    Hmm ...

A average (good) day for me would be something like:

    Eggs and toast for breakfast.
With it some tea loaded with sugar

Then rice/pasta with meat ... alot of meat
Chocolate cake/ice cream and sometimes both (I say sometimes, i lie and mean all the time)

Then if i get peckish, go kebab or get indian

Come back home and my mom is cooking something else for me.
I do bake cookies and cakes for myself when i cba.

In between all of those i am munching on crisps, chocolate, sweet.

    What am i doing wrong?

You must be thinking those weird American sizes. Like how can a skinny little chick be Size 0? If she was Size 0 she wouldn't be there at all you dumb fucks. Sheesh. You mean Size 6. Skinny little chicks are Size 6. Deal with it.  Tongue

Well our bodies soul job is to make sure we survive. The problem with the traditional eating three meals a day routine is that in between the time of those meals, your body think there is a deficiency in food around you so it actually stores fat so you can survive. For those who are trying to lose weight, I assigned a meal plan that would have someone eating every 2-3 hours 6-8 meals a day. But for gaining weight, you have to do the opposite.

You naturally have what many of us average folks tries to program our bodies to do--to burn calories constantly. That being said, I highly recommend you take in about800-1000 calories each meal and eat 3 large meals a day. Don't eat in between because by in between you're encouraging your metabolism to stay sparked.

Also drink about a gallon of water a day--this takes getting used to but the way I do it, is by sipping on my gallon jug twice every hour.

If you follow that, you'll see a gain in your weight.

For best results, eat packaged meals (like Hungry Man for example which packs about a pound of food in each packaging).
