I'm going to bring back the Dutch Council of ex-Muslims.
I've just mailed Ehsan Jami (founder of the old council) to ask if he's interested too.

I saw you went to the City of Angels. Spotted any Hollywood celebrities?

Anyhow, I wanted to propose something.
I wanted to found a new council of ex-Muslims, interested?
Last time went wrong because we focused too much on how evil Islam is.
I think that if we focus on faith freedom, women's right etc. (Like the British council does), we'll have much more success.
We should just peacefully and calm debate with Muslims and acknowledge that they have the freedom to believe in Islam, just like Muslims have the freedom to apostatize.
Modern educated Muslims might even support us.

If he doesn't want to you might want to try co-founder Loubna Barrada, she seems to have left because she didn't like his tone and his strong criticisms, she might be more in line with your personal beliefs and views.

Nice tip there, FF. In fact even if Jami is keen on a revival it might make sense to get Barrada in on the ground floor too.

I've heard about an ex-muslim converted to Christianity, SOMETIME.
But I never really thought about searching more info about that person.
Turns out to be her... ^^

Oh she's gone Christian, has she? She probably wont be keen to be part of this then as all the Council branches have that famous "We have renounced religion" slogan.
Was her objection to Jami over his criticisms of Islam itself, or was it largely due to him not endorsing Christianity?

Hehe xD I'm sure she can live with it. ^^
All the news-sites say that she didn't want anything to do with Jami's counsil because the purpose of the council changed from "Helping Ex-Muslims" and "Breaking Taboos" to "Destroying Islam".
