    Ok I can see the problem on this account. I'll sort it today sometime. Shouldn't be hard to figure out.

    In the meantime use the standard Modify button. That takes you to the full reply options.

    Nevermind. It's not just this site. There's a bug on FF, and I'm wondering if the fact that the two members having problems with it both have ceiling cat avatars (likely downloaded from the same site) is not coincidental. RIBS, where did you download your avatar from?

    I'll take a look at it anyway because it does seem to be different on my admin account and my test account. I stuffed around with the code for the edit button a bit and to be honest I was partly guessing and just trying it on my local host. grin12 I can use the original code and it should be fine, but right this moment I cbf'd downloading the template and messing with it.

    Good idea, and not crucial.  I have never used it anyway as it never worked for me, and used the modify button instead.

    aren't they supposed to be the same? I mean the EDIT and the MODIFY buttons? Except the MODIFY link has fancy features? I say no need to show the EDIT if it delivers the same function as MODIFY!!!

    I think I tried it a few times early on, and it was doing some action that it never completed.  Since then I never tried it again as I did not know what it was meant to do and I got by without it.  I think I assumed it was a mod feature to edit members less than savoury posts.

    It may be a browser specific problem. I mean before I messed with it.  grin12  I think you mainly use IE, if I recall correctly. Could be a bug with that somehow.

    @RIBS, when it is working it is quicker for correcting typos, etc. I think it is worth having both but they should be named differently. I like the idea of calling them "Quick Edit" and "Full edit" or something like that.

    Actually this new layout is pissing me off a little bit. I'm thinking I might put the quick edit back where it was (which hopefully will make it behave again  grin12 ) and have the full edit next to it and shove the quote and reply buttons over to the left. That way all post controls will be at the bottom. I find just whipping sideways to get something to be much more convenient than scrolling up and down with the cursor. You always want to read a post before using the controls so having everything at the bottom in the same line makes sense.

    Same problem here, I use IE6 at work, and whatever the latest vers. of Firefox at home.
