    Meh, I think its time we stopped these stupid self-bans.  

    It seems that only the good members ever seem to request them.  

    I am not sure if they really save the member that much time anyway.

    Experience has shown that these members on self-bans still visit the site anyway, they just dont post - the net effect is the quality of this site diminishes without saving the member that much time anyway. 

    Its self-defeating & tbh I have never heard or seen another forum/website offering this facility before.

    P.S  I am sure admins would also prefer to being something else with their time too..
