    Quote
Asked officials of the Dubai Police e-famous search engine "Google" to find a mechanism "to reduce the spread of pornographic images and films that would create problems and decadence in the society, especially among young people and adolescents."

Police said Thursday 2-4-2009 that "security officials demanded that the Director of Development Site in the Middle East and Europe Giselle Hescuk, during a meeting in Dubai, to limit the spread of pornographic passages, which make fun of religions, atheism and calls to publish the new religions, as well as asked to prevent the sections which violate the privacy, and calls for terrorism and violence, which are not suitable for young people, and promote the ethnic, racial, and calls for the chaos and insecurity, and the passages which call for the anomaly, and urges to commit suicide and self-destruction.

The statement quoted Hescuk mind meeting aimed to "bring the views and discuss ideas and proposals for the site, and in preparation for the arrival of the delegation in charge of looking at these issues from the stakeholders."

The meeting comes one day after the agreement, General Commander of Dubai Police Dahi Khalfan Working with the UAE Telecommunications Regulatory Authority, a no more than 500 leading to the search term entry to obscene sites on the Internet.

Roll Eyes Yeh, fat chance. This is one step to spreading their backwards laws. I always believed Dubai was moderate, but after visiting it, I found that it's just hypocritical and just as backwards as the other 'Islamic' nations.
