    Please describe yourself in more detail. Where do you live? How did you come into contact with Islam/Muslims? What brought you to this website? Your name is from pre-Columbian mythology, right?

    i am a 31 year old skeptic, formerly catholic, from italy
    i do see/meet/interact with muslims every day, and since i already know enough christians and christianity i decided i'd learn more about muslims and islam, and this forum seems really useful

    and, yes, tlaloc is the aztec god of rain. on his name they made human sacrifices.
    so it's one on the long lits of gods i don't really give a **** about Grin

    so far, most muslims i tried to inquire about religion had a peculiar attitude like: "if you want to learn about islam it means you want/will become muslim, otherwise you are talking to be just to mock me" :S

    that, and the uncanny feeling that they are showing me a polished sweetened version of their credo, for public relation purposes Tongue

    Unfortunately yes, Muslims cannot face the fact that their religion is quite bullshit, so they try to suppress the smell. Not all of them do this with evil intentions though. As a matter of fact, most Muslims are suffering from self-deception, since they are too cowardly to face the cold truths about Islam.
