    found this site by accident like many others here, but i'm very happy I did. It gives me comfort to know I am not alone in my experiences. I have many friends who know and support my beliefs but I never met anyone who had to face the same choices I did, so this is a refreshing haven for me. I must give my thanks to the creator Smiley

    hope youre all doing well, I am actually from Canada and its quite late but what can I say..

    I like the piggies. and dont worry, I am not so easily frightened Wink

    I dont know whether to call myself an ex-muslim or not. some might say yes, because I am born into a muslim family. but at the same time, I dont remember ever consciously accepting the faith anyways. I never did believe in it, just did as told until I was old enough to question myself and the world around me, which was quite early for me. So basically I just never accepted the faith as my own.

    Well, i think the reason why this passage stuck was how ambiguous and sombre it is. To me it expresses the idea of a city that seems to have a life of its own. and at night, the time of shadows and uncertainty, it stretches itself out from a slumber and breathes life. then comes the storytelling; the walls speak of strangers, thoughts and feelings that are from another place, a place that is also a another time altogether (hence, another night). this concept of fusing time and space adds to the ambiguity and mystery that i love so much.
