Evidence

How can I begin this .... ?
To all pious Believers.
There is No, I repeat, No, archeological evidence of anything happening in the
Biblical and pre-Islamic times as much as Rabbis and Mullahs want you to believe.
Koala Bears and penguins hopping into Noah's Ark tells you it's all a fairy story.
The Dead Sea parting, or Muhammed riding his beast to Jerusalem is poppycock.
For some years now I have crept into my wine cellar to consign myself to oblivion,
hoping some original being might make that simple discovery that links us to the
divine. Sadly, it has hasn't happend.
It's easy to knock and carp. We can denigrate anyone we like when there's no real
evidence. And that's the problem, there is no real evidence.
Differying texts, differying oral traditions.
How do we verify what's being said?
The answer is you can't.
Talmud and Hadith won't tell you the Earth was created more than four (4) billion
years ago.
So what do we believe in?
The answer is . . .
Common sense.
Uncommon, common sense.
If you can't swallow that,
then stick to your Religion,
as Dave Allen used to say,
"May your God go with you"
There will be no white flag above our door
