  • Saving Africa's Witch Children
     OP - November 13, 2008, 08:14 PM

    Anyone watch Dispatches last night?

It was really upsetting. Little children - one only 3 months old - branded as witches and machetted to death or burned and abused and locked up at the command of stupid backward religious fruitcakes.

It was truly disturbing that in this day and age - this is going on.

This is just a short clip. The bit AFTER this clip that they don't show is when they tried to take this little girl back to her village with her mum one man was sharpening his machette to chop her up - so they had to take her away.

I watched that programme, it was truly disturbing, especially the Bishop who'd killed over a 100 children and has never been prosecuted.

"Befriend them not, Oh murtads, and give them neither parrot nor bunny."  - happymurtad's advice on trolls.

I know - and the guy who was helping the children only went there as a student studying the oil industry - then ended up getting involved with setting up a refuge - why the FUCK isn't the government of Nigeria doing something?

I've explained this hundreds of times. Feels like it anyway. All you need to do is use quote tags or code tags to hold the link. Quote tags everyone knows about. Code tags are the # button just to the left of the quote button. FFS there's no point me explaining things if people refuse to listen. Raaarrgghhh!  banghead

Excuse me but I was dealing with Elle last night. Tongue

ETA: Anyway yes, murderous religious fuckwits give me the shits too. Totally disgusting excuses for people. Aint "faith" wonderful?

Devious, treacherous, murderous, neanderthal, sub-human of the West. bunny

I never thought I'd ever say this but if Nigeria has the death penalty they should use it.

I didn't see this programme, in some ways I am glad I didn't because it would have upset me no end.

I'm just revolted and outraged. It's like the perps and the people there belong to a separate sub-species. The whole place seems to be sleep walking in a fucking nightmare.
Thank goodness that guy is stirring things up with the state government.
The Pentecostals have alot to answer for there.
There were intimations of this in the Victoria Climbie case over here.
