Gosh, sorry to hear that z10. From a psychological perceptive though: Memeplex, memeplex, memeplex ... your uncle is only responding to you like this through years of fear and closed mindedness instilled in him ... it's nothing personal, just memeplex (Just trying to cheer up a very down hearted comment, no offence intended )

Not anytime recently ... perhaps the last time was when they were okay/unhappy I didn't go to late night prayers or waking up for sehri during Ramadan because I wake up early for work. Even that hurts them ... darn meme.

haha thanks, you're right - he doesn't know any better and I can't really blame him for what he doesn't know.

@Islame: I only heard about this through my mother, I haven't spoken to this uncle myself for at least 15 years...

looks like we live in the same world. it still worries my parents too when they see me not waking up for subh prayer and for missing Maghrib prayer. they are making a big issue out of it. the funny thing is anytime i wake up for subh prayer, i go out for a walk instead until the dawn sets in and then go back to sleep and i like it.

@canex personally i did it to 5 people, 1 puked, 1 got mad at me, 1 was pissed off but didn't get mad at me and 2 others got positively shocked that Pork doesn't taste like shit and continued this tradition with other newcomers
