  • Hello newbie here
     OP - August 03, 2020, 06:36 AM

Hello there. I am so glad to have finally found somewhere I fit into and people I can relate to. I left home a couple of years ago and started a new life on my own. It was difficult but I am through the worse of it and I’m very happy in my life now. When I did leave Islam which was way before than my family thought as I used to pretend to pray when I lived with family, my family thought the devil was inside me and performed ruqyah. They also thought I was mentally ill because I didn’t believe in God. I now have nothing to do with them except my mum who texts me but we don’t talk much besides “How are you?” Anyway, I hope I meet some great people here. Thank you for reading.

Thank you. Life is good. I have an amazing group of people at my workplace. Sometimes I forget how depressing my life would have been but when I do remember it just makes me appreciate how my life is now. I feel so glad to have my freedom. I would like to connect with people from a similar background and situation like me hence why I am here.
