  • The most suppressed gender in Islam
     OP - July 19, 2018, 07:41 AM

A women is suppressed to be home bound covered in full hijab performing the normal household duties.

She is only allowed to go out in the company of her husband, father, brother or son (Mehram only). Quran states that it will be a sin if a woman  or a man will gaze second time to any ghair-mehram. And for every sin there is a punishment. First gaze is allowed as it can be by mistake or unintentionally as well.

Women needs to be covered from head to toe. The main reason given for burqa or hijab is due to order of God (Quran) and also a secondary reason provided is the protection of women. It is deemed that women in burqa’s will be protected by the evil eyes of men and be safe. Logically, this example is not been seen as there are many rape cases in Pakistan and India have been reported where women were all covered and their faces were not merely been seen.
Most of the rape cases have been reported in Madrassas, Quranic Classics or even on the way.

It is not only limited to young girls or women. Young boys are also not safe in these Madrassas or mosques. Quranic teachers are molesting them almost everyday in the mosques. Those residing in Madrassas to learn Quran are being abused day and night in the name of Allah.
Poor kids are not able to express their pain and grief to anybody as they feel shame in it.

A women is treated to be a slave of men. Her destiny has been decided from the moment she is born. Parents decides to get her married as soon as she reached puberty (regardless of her age) as per Islamic rules. She will then give birth, raise chicken, look after the household and has to seek permission from her husband even to meet her own parents or family members. If the husband will not grant permission, women has to consider the husband’s word last and act upon it. If she will not do so, it will be considered a sin. And in Islam, Allah states that if it was allowed to bow down your head apart from me to any one, he would give that honour to a woman to bow down in front of her husband. These are so strict principles which has no logic to it.

On the other hand, the same husband is allowed to keep 4 wives at the same time. This sounds to me a joke. Why would a women be that faithful with no self esteem to a man who has other three wives at the same time ? As a women, I would never do that.

People have been following all of these from centuries and trusting Islam and it’s principles blindly without thinking upon them. It has ruined many lives. I think education is a big tool so that people can study Islam as well as science. Think logically and decides amongst themselves that how can Muhammad be a celestial body ? How did the universe came in to being ? How is there only one God / Allah / Bhagwan, when there are so many sects and sub sects ?

It is very depressing to see such intelligent people wasting their lives in the name of Islam.
