    So corpral punishehment memories are flooding back to me along with neg experiances with peps from chilshood.

    Postive...at sat quran class i used to keep my puffy jacket on the absorb the blows of the cane....didnt get caned much anyway and saw a student vs imam fight once....and it worked a treat when tho kids thought inwas wierd.

    But my dads forhand keeps flashing back

    Seems like it's something that's still having an impact on you. Find time to feel it and process it. Maybe a therapist?
