    Dear CEMB members

    (Oh dear, links not allowed so it's difficult for me to show what I'm talking about)

    A year or so ago the PDF versions of the Reliance of the Traveller with English and Arabic text began to be taken down from the internet so some friends and I transposed it to Word to ensure that a version will always be available to show what is actually in Sharia Law:

    We would very much like to include the sections which Nu Ha Mim Keller left untranslated (mostly to do with slavery I believe). Is there anyone here fluent in Arabic and English who would be willing to translate them for us? These are the relevant sections:

    The first link is to the Wordpress version we produced.

    The second is to the PDF version which is basically a scan of the book by Nu Ha Mim Keller with English and Arabic.

    Ah, I see what you mean now. Yes, your link is also the PDF version of the book. If we had known there were so many still about we wouldn't have bothered transcribing it, but I suspect it's only a matter of time before Keller or his publisher succeeds in getting them all taken down.

     what do you think is the good reason for his publisher  to get them all taken down ??

    I hope you understand the reason why  Keller or his publisher are trying to get take the free book from different sites....

    I think Keller is trying to get the PDF of his book taken down because it has proved more useful to critics of Islam, by revealing to the wider world what Sharia consists of, than his intended audience.

    you think so?? I am not certain about that  but   how about that book publisher??  Any one who  are familiar with Islamic laws know well that  origins of sharia law for  Muslim society  come from  religious precepts of Islam,  namely  the Quran and the Hadith ...And....and  in this internet age  both are  open books to all who have access to web

    Yes I do think so. But what has this to do with my request for help in translating the untranslated sections, which I see has found no takers?

    well  there could be other reasons such as financial  losses.,   why an author takes the free pdf  book from mirrored web sites

    no...no  there are takers.,,   those who  are interested  in faiths and their origins will take everything  dear Hal., but i did not get  those words "translating the untranslated sections" .,

    You mean to say rules of Sharia law that  are NOT  there  in that  book and Mr. Nuh Ha Mim Keller  did not translate all those voluminous books of Sharaia laws??
