    Verse Of the Qur'an
O assembly of Jinns and men, if you can penetrate the regions of the heavens and the earth, then penetrate them! You will not penetrate them except with authority.”
    Qur’an,55:33

Here  the manual is the ability of God to the amount of his power
No one of the jinn or people can pass through the seven heavens or the seven lands
Only by His own will alone

O assembly of jinns and men! If you have power to pass beyond the zones of the heavens and the earth, then pass (them)! But you will never be able to pass them, except with authority (from Allah)!

the water cycle in nature. This is a topic which is well known today. Consequently, the verses in the Qur’an that refer to the water cycle seem to express ideas that are now totally self-evident. But if we consider the ideas prevalent at that time, they appear to be based more on myth and philosophical speculation than on observed fact, even though useful practical knowledge on soil irrigation was current at that period.

Let us examine, for example, the following verse in chapter az-Zumar:
“Have you not seen that Allah sent rain down from the sky and caused it to penetrate the ground and come forth as springs, then He caused crops of different colors to grow…” Qur’an,39:21

Such notions seem quite natural to us today, but we should not forget that, not so long ago, they were not prevalent. It was not until the sixteenth century, with Bernard Palissy, that we gained the first coherent description of the water cycle. Prior to this, people believed that the waters of the oceans, under the effect of winds, were thrust towards the interior of the continents.

They then returned to the oceans via the great abyss, which, since Plato’s time was called the Tartarus .In the seventeenth century, great thinkers such as Descartes still believed in this myth. Even in the nineteenth century there were still those who believed in Aristotle’s theory that water was condensed in cool mountain caverns and formed underground lakes that fed

springs. Today, we know that it is the infiltration of rain water into the ground that is responsible for this. If one compares the facts of modern hydrology with the data found in numerous verses of the Qur’an on this subject, one cannot fail to notice the remarkable degree of agreement between the two.

well I like reading Quran,, So let me read and explain that verse to Akay,,

    Quote
Let us examine, for example, the following verse in chapter az-Zumar:
“Have you not seen that Allah sent rain down from the sky and caused it to penetrate the ground and come forth as springs, then He caused crops of different colors to grow…” Qur’an,39:21

Akay ideally you should read at least 5 verses below and 5 verses above the verse of interest  to understand the function of a verse in Quran .  In this case you must read all the verses from 39:15 to 39:26 .. that is minimum requirement, for Muslim folks as well Non Muslim folks  to even think about the verse

    So let us read,,

    Quote
14   Say: Allah (it is Whom) I serve, being sincere to Him in my obedience:

15   Serve then what you like besides Him. Say: The losers surely are those who shall have lost themselves and their families on the day of resurrection; now surely that is the clear loss.

16   They shall have coverings of fire above them and coverings beneath them; with that Allah makes His servants to fear, so be careful of (your duty to) Me, O My servants!

17   And (as for) those who keep off from the worship of the idols and turn to Allah, they shall have good news, therefore give good news to My servants,

18   Those who listen to the word, then follow the best of it; those are they whom Allah has guided, and those it is who are the men of understanding.

19   What! as for him then against whom the sentence of chastisement is due: What! can you save him who is in the fire?

20   But (as for) those who are careful of (their duty to) their Lord, they shall have high places, above them higher places, built (for them), beneath which flow rivers; (this is) the promise of Allah: Allah will not fail in (His) promise.

21   Do you not see that Allah sends down water from the cloud, then makes it go along in the earth in springs, then brings forth therewith herbage of various colors, then it withers so that you see it becoming yellow, then He makes it a thing crushed and broken into pieces? Most surely there is a reminder in this for the men of understanding.

22   What! is he whose heart Allah has opened for Islam so that he is in a light from his Lord (like the hard-hearted)? Nay, woe to those whose hearts are hard against the remembrance of Allah; those are in clear error.

23   Allah has revealed the best announcement, a book conformable in its various parts, repeating, whereat do shudder the skins of those who fear their Lord, then their skins and their hearts become pliant to the remembrance of Allah; this is Allah's guidance, He guides with it whom He pleases; and (as for) him whom Allah makes err, there is no guide for him.

24   Is he then who has to guard himself with his own person against the evil chastisement on the resurrection day? And it will be said to the unjust: Taste what you earned.

25   Those before them rejected (prophets), therefore there came to them the chastisement from whence they perceived not.

26   So Allah made them taste the disgrace in this world's life, and certainly the punishment of the hereafter is greater; did they but know!

Those verses you must read to make some sense out of 39:21.....

So what does that verse tell us??  with reference to  "SCIENCE OF WATER CYCLE ON EARTH  OR SCIENCE BEHIND WATER SPRINGS ON EARTH "  it tells you nothing ., and is nothing to do with water

It is a verse  for faith heads  to reinforce faith in allah/god.  Quran has many such verses that tries to brain wash faith heads either by fear or by enticing them with goody-goodies such as heaven with honey filled swimming pools.. wide eyed houries..etc.,   and hell fire to others who do not believe in nonsense in Islamic scripture.,

watch these Idiots talking nonsense on Jannah to faith heads and hell fire for those who question these fools .

by the way  you will also find similar stuff if not same in other faiths  and their books..  incidentally Quran has many such faith reinforcing  verses with

"HAVE YOU NOT SEEN"   ....Qur’an, 39:21  .....  or "DO YOU NOT SEE"..........   statements  in it ., You can literally replace  one with other without making any difference to the inner reason  for  "Why Quran saying  what it is saying "

here are such  .."HAVE YOU NOT SEEN ",,, .... "DO YOU NOT SEE"....examples for you from Quran..

    Quote
    1.  have you not seen those to whom a portion of the Book has been given? They believe in idols and false deities and say of those who disbelieve: These are better guided in the path than those who believe. ............Surah An-Nisaa, .Verse #51)

    2. have you not seen  those who assert that they believe in what has been revealed to you and what was revealed before you? They desire to summon one another to the judgment of the Shaitan, though they were commanded to deny him, and the Shaitan desires to lead them astray into a remote error. .........Surah An-Nisaa, . Verse #60)

    3.  have you not seen those who are forbidden secret counsels, then they return to what they are forbidden, and they hold secret counsels for sin and revolt and disobedience to the Apostle, and when they come to you they greet you with a greeting with which Allah does not greet you, and they say in themselves: Why does not Allah punish us for what we say? Hell is enough for them; they shall enter it, and evil is the resort.   Al-Mujaadila, Chapter #58, Verse #8)

    (4) have you not seen those who have become hypocrites? They say to those of their brethren who disbelieve from among the followers of the Book: If you are driven forth, we shall certainly go forth with you, and we will never obey any one concerning you, and if you are fought against, we will certainly help you, and Allah bears witness that they are most surely liars.  Al-Hashr, Chapter #59, Verse #11)

(5)have you not seen those who befriend a people with whom Allah is wroth? They are neither of you nor of them, and they swear falsely while they know.
     Al-Mujaadila, Chapter #58, Verse #14)

    Quote
1, do you not see how Allah has created the seven heavens, one above another,  Surah, Nooh, Chapter #71, Verse #15)

2, do you not see  that Allah sends down water from the cloud, then makes it go along in the earth in springs, then brings forth therewith herbage of various colors, then it withers so that you see it becoming yellow, then He makes it a thing crushed and broken into pieces? Most surely there is a reminder in this for the men of understanding.   Az-Zumar, Chapter #39, Verse #21)

3, do you not see   that Allah knows whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth? Nowhere is there a secret counsel between three persons but He is the fourth of them, nor (between) five but He is the sixth of them, nor less than that nor more but He is with them wheresoever they are; then He will inform them of what they did on the day of resurrection: surely Allah is Cognizant of all things..............., Al-Mujaadila, Verse #7)

So in short these .," Have you not seen".,   and :"Do you not see" are easily be replaceable with each other  without changing the meaning of a Surah in Quran  .. So dear akay.....

Go .......Read Quran ........ Read Quran ........Read Quran ........
    with best wishes
    yeezevee
