    Imtiaz Shams is going to be speaking at the British Islam Conference 2018 on a talk titled, "A Muslim's Guide to Ex Muslims".

    I reckon this is one of the first times an Ex Muslim will speak at a conference geared towards Islam and Muslim heritage communities, and big thumbs up to New Horizons in British Islam for talking such a big, brave and important step.

    SYNOPSIS: Ex Muslims across the world have begun to "come out" publicly, in thousands on online forums and social and mainstream media. Yet many Muslims find it difficult to know what to make of someone that calls themselves an Ex Muslim, why are they so angry?

    Imtiaz Shams talks about why Ex Muslims leave, the many different ways Muslim family, community and activists react, and how Muslims can support Ex Muslims better.

    About a month late but, good shit. Props to them. Hope it went well.
