Leaving Faith Behind: The journeys and perspectives of people who have chosen to leave Islam https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/0232533644/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_kjWEAb85F9JPP

    AVAILABLE FOR PREORDER NOW!

The first book of its kind, 'Leaving Faith Behind' tells the true stories of women and men who were born into Muslim families and who have made the difficult decision to leave Islam. It highlights the reasons why people have left Islam, their life experiences and the difficult choices they have made in changing opinion and belief. It is a personal reflection by individuals which shows the journey that many make in their lives in questioning and sometimes leaving faith behind, in this case Islam.

    About the Author
Fiyaz Mughal is the founder and director or Faith Matters, an organisation committed to reducing extremism and developing platforms for discourse and interaction between all faiths in the UK, and TellMAMA which monitors and provides support for victims of anti-Muslim incidents. Aliyah Saleem chose to leave Islam at the age of 19 and has since founded Faith to Faithless to support ex-religious people in minorities.

Does it actually say that? Rather amazing with how obsessive about "islamophobia" Tell MAMA is. Never seen a single accusation they reported/counted that turned out to be false they corrected themselves on. Probably busy reporting tweets the don't like alongside real world violence without distinction.

`But I don't want to go among mad people,' Alice remarked.
`Oh, you can't help that,' said the Cat: `we're all mad here. I'm mad.  You're mad.'
`How do you know I'm mad?' said Alice.
`You must be,' said the Cat, `or you wouldn't have come here.'

Yeah, you're right. Let's just go back to the good old days where abusing Muslims online or off was just a natural and unremarkable phenomenon.

Yeezevee as always just confuses people. His quote was from an Islamic organisation that was CRITICISING Tell Mama.

    Oh and what Toor said.

the following statement which was made by MEND’s Chief Executive, Sufyan Ismail in late 2014. He stated the following to a mainly Muslim audience:

“We don’t want the government to fob us off with some phony thing called Tell MAMA, which has got a pro-Zionist pretty much heading it, or in a very senior capacity, and is making all sorts of comments we might not agree with when it comes to homosexuality, to be recording Islamophobia.”

You seriously got that from what I said? How does thinking a mean tweet or facebook comment should be reported as such, instead of lumped together with incidents of violence without distinction, which is an incredibly bad way of reporting these things, translate into "Let's make abusing people the norm"?

    I don't understand.

`But I don't want to go among mad people,' Alice remarked.
`Oh, you can't help that,' said the Cat: `we're all mad here. I'm mad.  You're mad.'
`How do you know I'm mad?' said Alice.

If you're going to call Tell MAMA's project "obsessive", given what it was explicitly set up to do - that is to say, document anti-Muslim incidents as comprehensively as is feasible -  I'm not sure whether anything but a non-sarcastic answer is appropriate.
