    Police from a Christian-majority region of the Philippines has proposed issuing mandatory identification cards to thousands of Muslims of the region, reported The Guardian.

    Human Rights Watch has termed the proposal a form of collective punishment, saying, "The IDs could also violate the rights to equal protection of the law, freedom of movement, and other basic rights."

    Philippines is fighting the militant Islamic State group related fighters in Marawi which is being used as the reason by Central Luzon region's authorities to justify the policy as a counter-terrorism measure.


    Hmm...  new idea.,  but how does  tagging Muslim folks  will help  militants of Islam and Islamist scoundrels you fools?
