    Hi everyone! I'm a 16 year old girl. I've been an ex Muslim ever since I was 13. Before 13 I was quite religious and believed all the lies they told us about Islam. They never told us the whole story. I believed Muhammad is a very peaceful man and Allah has great qualities. My relatives are quite religious and I was told each and every religious story, with praise of Islam of course. And I ate it right up. I still cringe at that. Then I matured a bit and learned that there are always two sides to a story. I am very stubborn about my morals and never go against them. I decided to learn more about Islam (through the internet LOL) and came to this forum and r/exmuslim. I learned about apostates and why they left. Before this I didn't even know apostates existed. I thought, they're really unlucky. But then I felt that religion is not for me. I started having doubts. And finally, through the internet (what would I do without you?) My faith was finally shattered. I was really lost and angry at first but now I feel like I'm free. I'm not bound to religion anymore. It's okay to be human and make mistakes. Thank you for reading.
