  • Two questions
     OP - March 23, 2017, 10:51 PM

Firstly, this will sound stupid but is there a search function for the forum I can't find it?

Also, has the forum changed?  Didn't it use to be much busier, what happened?

    Thanks

    1) On the mobile friendly webpage there is a button saying search options.
    2) Many people leave after the initial stages of apostasy, because it seems like most eventually over their frustration of having been lied to (I know I have). Some no longer care to identify as ex-Muslims anymore, especially Western ex-Muslims. And some may be on reddit, but from my time lurking there it seems like many of the users are never-moose.

I knew I'd have to declare myself blind, yes I can see the search function now.  Thank You Smiley

I guess yes, moving on from the forum can be a stage in your freedom/progress.  I didn't think of it like that.  Are new people joining?  Are there stats on how many people are leaving Islam?  Is the movement gaining momentum?

New people are joining, from the looks of it. It's impossible to tell how many people are leaving. For an example: I have 4 apostates in my family, but no one would be able to tell. No one who looked at us would be guess that we were ever Muslims.

There are people who decide to just blend in and keep their former identity a secret, and there are those who are too scared to come out. That makes it difficult to keep track.
