    Hello friends.
    My name is Mohammed E.
    I was born in sunni muslim family.
    My family was moderate but still a lot religious.
    In fact my mom was too practicing muslim.

    soon in my life due to my circumstances , I learned that this GOD of islam is really evil and brutal and doesn't makes much sense.

    I left islam and became atheist.

    3 years back I migrated to USA.

    I saw here christian values and their religion.
    I started reading old testament and new testament simultaneously.

    I found that, christain GOD jesus is thousands times better than ALLAH.

    I found that christainity is a far better religion than islam.

    islam is too violent, as you can see from nigera to somalia, to pakistan to afghanistan to syria to iraq to iran and so on.

    Now I feel that carrying a muslim name in United States is a hindrance in progress.

    but I fear, even tough I live very close to washington DC, but still If I openly become christain just for my material well being and for joining the majority group of protestant christains in US, I might be assassinated by fuccckingg muslims here.

    what should I do ?

    I should carry this muslim name for rest of my life and keep getting hindrance in progress in united states.

    or I should wait for the better time to join Christianity.

    Or I should just live like a atheist.

    leaving islam and joining christainity also comes up with lots of troubles.
    for example.
    you lose your family and parents and relationships.
    you lose money which you can get from your parents.
    you are continuously on death threats.

    I am confused.

    But I like christainity and bible. its a better religion than islam and you get freedom as well in it.

    You can change your name to whatever you would like, but you don´t have to embrace any religion to live in the US. Plenty of people here have no religion at all.
    You won´t experience any greater wealth by becoming Christian, as far as I can see. Unless you wanted to become a televangelist. Those guys convince their audiences to give them plenty of cash.
    If you are living in an area where you are experiencing discrimination because of your Muslim name, then you might want to fight it or move to a better area. Discrimination is against the law, and you have a right to stand against it.
    You don´t have to change your name unless you want to.
    Don't let Hitler have the street.

    And take a good look at American Christianity before you get too happy.
    Quite a bit of it is on par with Middle East's finest fundamentalism.
    They have become sufficiently house trained not to stone people, but I have no doubt, that some of them would like to do it.

    I heard some christian local radio during the primaries. They wanted Ted Cruz, and they wanted a theocracy. Screw the rest, as soon as they had that, they were certain that everything would be great.

    Exchanging one kind of fundamentalism with another is not likely to do you much good.

    take what you like from Christianity and take what you like from islam  you don't have to follow any religion to the letter.

    you could change your name to Chad billy bob Kentucky. but you may have to work on your accent.

    if I type Christianity with a lowercase c, it corrects it to a capital c. but I don't get a capital I with islam. is this deliberate?

    With which browser?

    Firefox with English language pack installed puts a red line under christianity, islam, jew and islamic.
    But it does not under the flying spaghetti monster.

    I think you guys are right.
    Staying atheist is the best option for us.
    Every religion comes with fundamentalism.
    but modern Christianity is definitely better than current Islam.
    It is less violent, as far as I know.

    So I will follow you guys.
    I am atheist Ex-Muslim.

    Changing name will create problems in my family, so I drop that too.

    lets just relax and see religions fading from universe.

    Yup you are right.
    but it all depends on timing and opportunities.

    but for sure, changing name or converting to Christianity would be the worst decision right now. It would have no wisdom in it.

    Changing name or conversion is not suitable for me right now.
    I will lose my family, wealth and other fun stuffs.

    So yes I will wait for the correct time in future.

    let's see what future brings for me.

    I am very open to changing name or religion.
    Religion is nothing for me except a club.

    but islamic club is dangerous, they kill you for leaving them.
    they love their members toooooo much !!!!  Cheesy

    One does not join Christianity, one puts his faith in God to have a personal relationship with Him.  There is no church roster that your name gets automatically inserted into the moment you choose to follow Christ.

    Difficult for me to accept you do not already know answer to your question, Just the same, seeking guidance in forum mostly comprised of atheists and agnostic is stuff of the twilight zone.

    I understand your concerns, everyone fears being disowned, disinherited or harmed.  However true fellowship with God is walking in His light and goodness, not who can shout their statement of faith the loudest.  IMO: If you can live among your family and friends without denying Lord Jesus, then your silence is blameless. Myself, I believed necessary to profess my faith in Lord Jesus to my family, and use caution elsewhere. Nonetheless the course you take is entirely between you and Him.

    As for name change, that is simply personal matter. God calls each of us by the unique name He has given us. So it matters little what name our parents chose for us or we choose for ourselves.

    May our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ give you peace.

    I think protestant Christianity is the best religion in this world right now.
    New testament is the great if you will compare it with quran and old testament,

    Thanks for inviting me to jesus christ.

    I would definitely consider protestant Christianity in future.

    In 2 weeks, you have made 140 posts. (and the deleted ones are probably not counted, unless they are just moved to an invisible "repository of assorted madness"-folder)
    Most of them have the character of trolling/shouting
    You have attempted thread hi-jacking, posted out of context, used very large fonts, started multiple threads on the same subject.

    In other words, almost all the things you can do, to annoy the moderators on any forum.

    And now you have added "whining over the moderation" to the list.
    (You have not yet spammed or tried to draw traffic to your blog or youtube-channel. Is that up next?)

    I am definitely influenced by satan. I use to eat haram food, consume pornography, and objectify women.
    I lost respect for my mom.father and relative.
    I have cursed ALLAH and prophet Muhammad (SAWW).

    There was a war going inside me, I was born with some defects and disabilities.
    when I use to offer salat, satan use to say me, why you pray this GOD, who has done this to you.

    There are many other reasons also there, because of which I came back into Islam.

    I was getting bright dreams. And supernatural things were happening me with.

    I was just rejecting ALLAH, because I was under the influence, Other wise I knew inside in the bottom of my heart that ALLAH is the only GOD.

    I am offering 2 rakat Tooba prayers with every salat for forgiveness.

    I am thankful to ALLAH, ALLAH let me back into Islam, before Ramadan.

    Atheism, as you well know, isn't a religion. Nor does atheism make any claims to explanation of anything.

    What is this "supernatural phenomenon"?

    The Holy Qur'an, [8:30] says: ''And [remember, O Muhammad], when those who disbelieved plotted against you to restrain you or kill you or evict you [from Makkah]. But they plan, and Allah plans. And Allah is the best of planners.''

    Thank Allah (SWT) for keeping you steadfast on the Deen before the coming of Ramadan. Increase your time with Allah through the 5 daily prayers and by reading the Qur'an. If you have any difficulties then sincerely make Du'a with good intentions.

    I will send you my Youtube channel which refutes claims posed against the religion of Islam, (these claims are mostly done by Christian apologists). As-salamu alaykum brother once again.

    Sorry Brother A-Muslim, I don't want to break your heart. I am feeling bad saying this, but I have to say this.
    I left Islam again. I am positive atheist again.
    Reason, I found GODs just imaginary things, which have no powers in our lives.

    I know it sounds weird, But I am suffering from this mental torment, I am swinging between different faiths.

    But now I have to research Christianity and Islam with more better tools and techniques to avoid this swing.
    I regret, I became muslim for whole 1 day.

    I am feeling bad, How come my brain cells be so stupid...

    Anyways I am sure Now I will get some stability and avoid this thing in future.

    religions are one of best escapes available.

    Hey man, I am atheist again.
    But by supernatural I mean, spirits, souls, jinns ,magic, black magic , etc etc.

    yeah atheism isn't religion , I was just so stupid to say that.
    but why atheism doesn't explain things ?? I mean atheist should research and explain unexplained things...

    If you are not trolling, I hope you are okay right now. If you feel like you need help, please do not hesitate to seek therapy. I'm sorry that you feel mental torment right now, you have swung back and forth, from Islam, to Christianity, to atheism, to Islam again, to atheism again....

    We're all humans and nobody actually have "the truth" all figured out. It's okay to be you, it is your life, your personal journey, it is your choice.

    As for atheism:

    Atheism isn't organized religion, atheism by itself is just people who don't believe in God. Not believing is just that, not believing. It's not a position to explain anything else but disbelief.

    Many atheists do want to debunk religions, and many atheists do research religious matters. However, you are not obligated to do so just because you're an atheist. Many people simply don't care about religions.

    If you want to, I'd recommend you to study other religions as well, and the atheist argument as to why "God" doesn't exist. Wink

    No I am not trolling. Yeah i will go to psychologist , if it gets worse.
    But religious studies of islam and christianity really fucccked my balance.
    I was atheist for so long.

    Yeah Now I won't study much, as there is no obligation to study religion.

    I have to read quran and bible as a story book rather than books of deity.

    I am so confused. Hopefully, I'll see another post tomorrow on this thread of you coming back to Islam, lol. In all honesty, whatever makes you happy. But, as I am a Muslim, i believe this is a very serious matter. Think about t carefully. Ramadan is just around the corner.

    I think its explorer. I've just installed windows 10 (accidently) maybe its summit to do with that.
