    and why do you think the author(s) included different facts (like the ones the scholars claim to be scientific prophecies ) ?
    Do you think Quran have not undergone any changes/innovations ?
    Atleast that is the reason Muslims say, god revoked Gospel and Torah .

    I think Muhammad was the author of the compilation but not necessarily created every single verse from scratch. Some verses are obvious paraphrasing or almost copies of previous material. Much as in modern time we quote different authors. We write what the quote is but didn't create the original piece being quoted. Different ideas within the text happened for a number of reasons. In some cases people asked questions so a few verses are directly related to these specifics. Other times it was in response to certain events like war, disputes, theological issues, etc. Islamic tradition itself is clear that this happened.

    The Quran has been change Islamic tradition show this while also displaying how problematic the method of codification was. Without an original one can only trust in the word of the editors themselves. However as I said before this sort of trust is problematic.

    A text having been edited and/or changed does not by default make another text correct. After all if we are talking about factual changes then Muslims must admit to the mythology ithe Quran copies itself. For example Moses has zero historicity, the exodus never happened nor did the conquest of Canaan. Yet the Quran uses Moses repeatedly. That is the issue with this argument. You can not arbitrarily decide when not to use evidence. If you go down the path of scholarship and archaeology it undermines the Quran far more than Christianity and Judaism due to the relaxed view on literalism. Many view this mythology as moral lessons in the form of a story typical of the era. Many stories included various forms of mythology from Gilgamesh to Alexander. So they can disregard a lot of the mythology as literary favour not as factual history.
