I cant access my profile settings
OP - August 19, 2015, 10:55 AM

Hello everyone, I'm new to the forum. Everytime I try to go to my profile settings (so I can change my avatar or signature), I get the following prompted message:

"An Error Has Occurred!
You are not permitted to modify profile settings."

I sent an email a few days ago, but no one has written back to me yet.

Can the admins fix this problem?

I think new members can only change those things after a couple weeks or so..

Did you go to your profile via My Stuff -> My Profile? If that does not work click on of the default Ex-Muslim profile picture. The one below your username, member, and stars. When that page loads trying Profile settings.

Sorry not an admin or mod but just trying different idea to see if something works.

Profile settings are disabled for brand new accounts until you've got a few posts under your belt. Cuts down on trolls and spammers. In the meantime, you can make an introduction and tell us a bit about yourself. And welcome!

Why on Earth would you want to change your Avatar. Yours is well fit and it gives me the impression that you are too.

If you don't change it, I will bring you roses and compliments daily?
