    imho Noam Chomsky comes out of this rather better than Sam Harris.

    Scanned through it earlier,  there's a lot of text to get through. Sam really does try to paint himself as "Hey . .. I'm the good guy here .. just trying to be reasonable and organise a debate with this difficult man but fellow intellectual who I deeply respect'.
    It never gets off the ground though, Chomsky is prickly and clearly hostile towards the notion from the get go, apparently Sam has been critical of him in the past and he doesn't forget this.
