    Yeah I love it Cheesy

Got it from that Paul Salahuddin Armstong the Brits among here might know of.

I shared it on my Facebook and was a bit unwary when at first only non-Muslim people liking it. Luckily some (ex-)Muslims joined in so I didn't come by as one of 'em Islamophobes beacuse of my name and skin colour whistling2

Lol. Last 'iftar' of 2014 for me. Yaay~~
We were seated at the table when my sister proclaimed "Until Ramadan 2015" to which everyone said "Insha'Allah!", having a mouth too full to talk never felt better.

I like the Anarkali. My daughter would love one. Thanks Yeezevee! The first video made me miss my mahvara at first, but by the end of it, I was glad I didn't have it anymore! I never want to see my kids slit the throat of a stuffed pony.

    Eid Mubarak folks!

I actually missed the Eid Prayer this year. I usually like seeing all those people together,  hugging and kissing after prayer. Men and women in nice clothes.

The future is full of thrilling possibilities.

Guys, what do you all really think of Eid? Seems like such a lame festival when you think about it, although people do manage to find ways to enjoy it somewhat.

Night before: So its Eid so might aswell get friends and family together and enjoy the night a little. But..

Next Day: Need to wake up at 6:00 am to go Eid namaaz. Still half asleep at namaaz due to no breakfast, tea coffee just a date to wake myself up. Eid namaaz ends with a long dua and maulana crying hysterical for some reason I never seem to understand. Salaat ends now need to hug some random people I never have met or will meet again.

Visit the graveyard: What a way to kill the festival mood

10am to 7pm nothing much really happenind people just hanging around at home eating some sweets watching some TV half asleep due to early start

7pm+ Things liven up a little with dawats, family get togethers and for many a youngster a cruise aruond green st, ilford, southall, rusholme etc.

I think the early starts really are annoying, and the whole fake emotion of hugging any tom dick and harry that happens to be next to you just about sums it up.

What do other peoples eid look like?

    No visiting of graves
    6am-4pm
    4pm+
It's just like celebrating someone's birthday and suddenly they have to leave for a couple of hours, and you're stuck with other people you don't know, except it's just you but it's still as awkward.

Frack me I remember those days! The Curry Mile all blocked up because of the expensive cars the guys hired that day only to go round in circles to pick up the girls that aren't there and beeping their horns at some randomers waving the Pakistani flag and a dholki walla.
