If someone were to ask ‘how would you like the world to end?’ what answer would you give them? Well, if you’re anything like the 89.7% of the global population that has not succumbed to the psychological disorder commonly referred to as ‘atheism’, you no doubt revel in the idea of men; women and children dying a slow agonising death as the world erupts and burns around them just before the Messiah returns to put the world to right and God Almighty judges everyone for the sins they may have once committed.

We asked some of the top Islamic Scholars at the most reputable Islamic Institute in the world, the al-Azhar University, what they thought were the top 10 coolest signs before the Day of Judgement. Rated in order of their ‘cool factor’ the following are what the scholars think are the most entertaining signs before the shit hits the fan. Below you will find a description of each event; a quote from a distinguished passer-by and a completely arbitrary cool rating out of 5.
