The last three days I' ve noticed that no new post show up when I click "show unread posts". But when I click on "replies to my posts" I see several threads and posts I haven't read since my last post or look. Don't know why it shows like that, but I've missed new threads and posts without knowing it.

Do you use more than one device to view the forum? Is it still happening?

I've noticed sometimes when I look at unread posts on my phone, they don't show up later when I look on the pc, even though I never opened the threads. I can take a look to see if it's an easy fix, but in the meantime keep that in mind when you switch devices.

I think it's your account that remembers what unread posts you've read rather than the computer.  I use private browsing so nothing on this website is stored on the computer.  When I come onto the website everything shows up as "No new posts" but when I log in it all goes back to normal.

Just FYI: the software tracks your last login, and the "Show unread posts" and "Show new replies" functions only apply to stuff that is new since your last login. So it doesn't matter which devices you are using. What matters is when you last logged in. Afro

AFAIK there's no easy way of changing this.

Yep. ^^ Wot the Oz said.

Also, if "Recent Unread Topics" show no threads, click on the button on the right side labelled "All Unread Posts" - that should show all the threads that you haven't yet opened.
