This is a very nice thread. I wish it had been here just after my accident when I was thinking it would have been better to have died alone on the side of the road the to have lived with traumatic brain injury. I've already lived through a horrible accident that was kind of interesting.  I wouldn't wish it on an enemy so  I won't put it on the list but if you ever get a chance to do it remember to live.

    102) See one  of my patient that was resuscitated in code years after the event and get to talk to them about how their life has been.
    103) Have a successful marriage.
    104) Canoe down the river near my home to the next to the next to the next until I reach the Mississippi and then the Golf of Mexico.
    105) See my rainbow grandchildren grow up and my great grandchildren born.

    This is a wonderful idea.

I think I may have fallen in love with my beloved, and she with me, as we canoed down the river Axe to the sea (a journey of five miles including a diversion into a reed bed - baby Moses was in there somewhere I swear).

Aawwwhh, so sweet David.♡ your company would be greatly appreciated.  However, I'm sure baby Moses has never been on any of these rivers. It would be more along the line of Louis and Clarks adventure back. That is if they went back the way they came. Well actually I think their whole deal was further north like up the Mississippi to Missouri then to Idaho or something. (That's what I get for not going to school in the US)  A deversion into a reed bed might not be bad in the right  company ♡.

Ah it just a thing to dream about. So far I've just gone around the duck marshes. I've tryed to talked my sister into canoeing to the town we use to live in 70 miles by road. Longer by river. She keeps telling me I'm out of my mind. Yeah well so what it's better then being boring.

I have to say here, I am crazy for canoeing. I would go with you, as long I get to steer! I am so into it, that I disdain kayaks. I will portage, Lynna, you just navigate. I did 210 miles, and if I could, I would do it again.

Do it!  I've read the first two books in the series and they are GOOD!  And I'm pretty picky about fantasy as a genre. You will become addicted though.

IMO, George R R Martin is right up there with Frank Herbert (author of Dune) as one of the best sci-fi / fantasy writers of all time.

^The books aren't finished either, and GRRM is 65. One of my worst fears would be if he pulled a Robert Jordan on us and die before completing his story.

G R R Martin is far more accessible than Frank Herbert.

`But I don't want to go among mad people,' Alice remarked.
`Oh, you can't help that,' said the Cat: `we're all mad here. I'm mad.  You're mad.'
`How do you know I'm mad?' said Alice.
`You must be,' said the Cat, `or you wouldn't have come here.'

Put your reasons why you think life is worth living. It can be everything
The reasons should be specific, not general concepts.   dance
    I start
    1. There is food on earth I still haven't tasted yet lol
    2. Try scuba diving
    3. Meet some of the cemb members
    4. Learn to ride a skateboard
    5. Meet people that will change my life
    6. Learn to play the piano
    7. Hug a random stranger lol
    8. Travel around the world
    9. Fall in love
And i have lots of reasons but these are that come to my mind

Another new thread to me. Good idea for a thread on cemb, where many people are looking for exactly these reasons after losing God. I must remember to contribute occasionally.

I can help you with 3, 7 & 9 btw INcePtion (please don't get creeped out, I'm just kidding)
