Speaking of defending Mo, I have a quick question for whoever the hell it applies to. I often notice new members signing up to CEMB, but many of them never post. When I first created an account it said that when I'm accepted I'll be sent an e-mail and I can log in. Never actually got an e-mail, after waiting a while I just tried logging in and it worked. If that's still an issue could people who would otherwise be here assume they never got an account?

`But I don't want to go among mad people,' Alice remarked.
`Oh, you can't help that,' said the Cat: `we're all mad here. I'm mad.  You're mad.'
`How do you know I'm mad?' said Alice.
`You must be,' said the Cat, `or you wouldn't have come here.'

    Hi QSE,
I've split this post out of the iERA email thread.
As for your question, let me look into it. One sec...

Thanks for bringing this to our attention, QSE.  The approval email wasn't always being sent but will be from now onwards. Afro

Yonks ago there were problems with some email providers and their default spam settings too. The email was often sent but would get lunched. From memory, I think hotmail was the worst offender there. Don't know if that's still the case.
