    Here it is, I was furious. It is a response to the "Domestic violence laws" that have been enacted in Saudi Arabia of late.
     
    I am sure you need to have four witnesses. Forensic evidence is not acceptable. Those four witnesses have to have good Iman, too. They have to attend Jumaah, fast in Ramadhan, have a nice beard, keep their thobe off their ankles, come on, I am not asking for Taraweeh here, just your basics.. ladies, get your witnesses into your speed dial, pronto.
     Oh wait.. I guess that is just for rape, silly me. I suppose it is easier now to rape than to bitchslap your woman.. better get to that speed dial, because if you are in Iran instead, you cannot kill the perpetrator without receiving your own death sentence..

    I have other comments, but that is the one I was actually Muslim offensive in. I cannot figure out what else it would have been.

    I don't have a lot of sympathy for the "progress" being made under those countries utilizing Shariah. Looks like UN pandering to me, but I might be jaded.

    I am 8 years free. I have managed to get my children into the best autistic school in the country and moved closer to it, which also gets us back into civilization and away from farmtown.
    I am definitely doing better, and Islam is a much weaker influence on my psyche.
    I have helped countless women over the past few years w escaping domestic abuse, and a few men, too, escaping Muslim families.
    I still have PTSD but it is more manageable. I am still in hiding and likely always will be, but have many things in place now so that I am more effectively shielded and less panicked.
    I have a very soft spot in my heart and head for Muslims and ex-Muslims. I joined EXMNA and loved the meetups, met some really lovely girls, but life got in the way and now the pandemic prevents meets.
    Miss you guys, sorry the forum is quiet of late and hoping people pile back in.

    After all these years and with Islam far in the rearview of life, it's rather surreal looking back on some old threads around here, remembering what it was like to be in the throes of ex-Muslimism. The world is a much different place now.
