    let me clarify 3. Amy Farrah Fowler is a great actress in The Big Bang Theory, great because as the seventh member of the regular crew, she would have the hardest time to gel. I think she is a boffin in real life too.

    Don't have T.V? I am not coming round. Good for the kids tho, not having a T.V. They talk to kids at school, so don't they miss it/out? I bet the radio is on tho.

    We had a kid, when I was a kid too, during the who shot JR episode, and all us classmates put in fifty p on a sweepstake to pick the culprit. This one lad said he had no T.V but joined in anyway. he was a Plythmouth Bretheren? Christians all looked grey and drab.

    I just have DVD, and something for VHS, too. The kids are still too small to feel left out at school, not old enough to follow shows much.
    I have all our favorites on YouTube, so no matter what gadget is on, it plays what we want it to..
    I use all this as a complicated reward system.

    (I saw the "Who shot JR" episode - and then I quit TV altogether. I didn't realise it had gotten colours until I started streaming shit and I told people that 'they have colours!!!').

    For some reason US muslims tend to be a lot more relaxed. I noticed it while I was in the states. You even have muslims from the states talk about how rigid/fundamental UK muslims are compared to US ones. Obviously it's not all, but it's noticable. I've sometimes wondered if the reason for it is that Europe just doesn't know how to handle religion anymore, whereas America does.

    I believe we have a smaller Muslim population then Europe which mean less crazies preaching in the Mosque's. We also have less trouble assimilating immigrants into American society.

    Maybe there is less polarization, so the US Muslims don't feel as threatened and don't end up as fanatical. Though I saw some fanatics.
    Maybe there is more integration, leading to less polarization and a less defensive position among Muslims.
    The US policy is certainly to broadcast apologist stuff.

    I don't know about that. We are talking about US/UK, not Europe.
    We have Mosque crazies where I have been in the US, and HS is right there, watching...

    I am not sure about that, either. I knew both. Maybe that was true 30 years ago.
