Isn't that one a bit tainted since Barack Obama got it for just being elected? finmad

But Malala is definitely a worthy nominee! Afro

I saw a report on Newsnight yesterday showing that a huge number of Pakistanis do not like her. They reported that 75% of comments on one website were negative, calling her a prostitute and even worse. A Pakistani cleric was saying that because she says things which go against Islam, the west likes her so much. He accused her of saying things like women don't need to wear 'purdah' etc.

I was with a muslim when the news was showing her speech, at first he told me to change the channel, then when it showed her with the UN secretary general, he just blurts out as if talking to her, "Yeh, why don't to go and give him a blow job and then Gordon Brown too." I just shook my head.

If only her version of Islam was actually Islam. The world would be a much better place.

She should start her own religion.

Too fucking busy, and vice versa.

I wonder how long she will survive before someone silences her.

That's really sad :( Just makes her all the more brave if you ask me.

     You are wrong  UberSlave.,

"one web site and one Muslim guy that you met  from Pakistan doesn't represent 180 million people of Pakistan",

You have to post links to make people believe that..

common she is 16 year old kid with a great Dad..   wonderful parents happened to be born in Islam  and follow Islam..

Thanks for telling me I'm wrong Yeez, even though I never expressed an opinion, just relayed something I saw on the news and a related occurrence while watching it.
I know I've been wrong many times, as long as you are right, that's all that matters.

If I was her I'd be tempted to say "Allah gave me a message" or something similar.
