    Hello,

My name is Mike. I'm neither Muslim, nor Arab, but I am learning Arabic.

Why am I joining this forum? Well, I was doing some research and this happened to be one of the links that displayed on Google. I started reading some of the threads, and I was quite intrigued. So, I decided to join.

You're probably wondering, "If you're not Muslim, are you religious?"

I am a Christian, but don't worry, I have no intent on getting involved in any religious discussions. I'm here to read and maybe ask a question about Arabic or the Qurʾān every now and then. I'm all about learning. Anyway, nice to meet everyone!

Hello and welcome Paragon, you will find that the majority of members here are not Arabs, but  quite a few of us can read and even understand at least some basic Arabic.

    Hi Mike,

Not a Muslim. Nor ex-Muslim. Nor Christian.

I'm just here for the lulz. And for the globalist humanist discourse I find so refreshing here.

Welcome Smiley Have a parrot parrot

Lurk around. Read some old threads. Lots of good stuff in there (I joined recently, so I'm still reading up). There is an Arabic board as well (go to "Forum" and scroll down). And some of the people writing on the English threads are proficient in both contemporary and Quaranic Arabic.

    Cheers  piggy
