  • New member saying Hi
     OP - June 14, 2013, 06:22 PM

Hi everybody. I have just joined the site following a recommendation by someone on Twitter. (yeah I know.  I'll ask the question later)
Anyway I'm not a muslim or former anything. I'm just an English atheist looking to understand more of the often misquoted, misrepresented and misunderstood religion of islam. It therefore somehow made sense to ask those who've lived with it and escaped or are now trying to escape and live without it. I truly believe that the greatest victims of islam are actually it's followers. I look forward to many discussions and no doubt differences of opinion.
To those of you who have found the courage and the strength to be free, may I offer my utmost respect, support and heartfelt congratulations to you all. Malc.

Welcome to the CEMB forum, Malc. If you want to learn more about Islam from the perspective Ex-Muslim atheists/agnostics/humanists, you've definitely come to the right place.

    Hi Newty,

I'm totally with you there, albeit from Denmark Smiley I think you will love the free-thinking (does that make sense in English Huh? - it does in Danish...) and the humour here (See! Proper use of 'u's right here! Cheesy - I also happen to believe the usage of z's is an (See! "An") abominable! (<- See! Hard words too!)

Welcome Smiley Have a parrot!  parrot
