    LAHORE, Pakistan (AP) — Hundreds of people in the eastern Pakistani city of Lahore attacked a Christian neighborhood Saturday and set fire to homes after hearing accusations that a Christian man had committed blasphemy against Islam's prophet, said a police officer.

    Blasphemy is a serious crime in Pakistan that can carry the death penalty but sometimes outraged residents exact their own retribution for perceived insults of Islam's Prophet Mohammed. Pakistan is overwhelmingly Sunni Muslim and people of other faiths, including the nation's small Christian community, are often viewed with suspicion.

    The incident started Friday when a young Muslim man accused a Christian man of committing blasphemy by making offensive comments about the prophet, according to Multan Khan, a senior police officer in Lahore.

    And the insanity of these people continue. Never mind the fact this type of behavior would be considered against Islamic teachings for the most part, but these losers never learn. Actually never mind, they don't care because they are not one of "them".

    I'm trying really hard, but this religion of peace thing just isn't working so well for me. wacko

    They didn't even just go after the one Christian guy, they torched the whole neighbourhood.

    Meanwhile if America were to torch the entire country because of this group acting up they'd happy start screaming "KILLING IS WRONG AND WHY PUNISH A COUNTRY FOR WHAT ONE CITY HAS DONE?!?!?!?!?!?"

    And if course if you show this to any Muslim/Pakistani person in Europe or America you'll get the same "thats not islam because islam doesnt allow that, stop trying to make islam and pakistan sound bad."

    I know it's not being Muslim that made them do this but it's not me making Islam and Pakistan sound bad. wacko

    Also sucks how the police can't jail the rioters because there were probably too many and they'd just get another riot who would kill them for taking the side of the blasphemers.
