    Hey guys,

Some of you know me because of my previous videos on YouTube, I was sued by Adnan Oktar (the infamous turkish creationist) for insulting Islam. For those who don't know me, I'm a secular humanist, an atheist and a amateur producer who shoots videos about atheism and scepticism in Turkey. Most of my work is geared towards turkish audience since I speak in Turkish or use actors who speak Turkish. So you probably never heard of me. But I try to add English subtitles as much as possible.

So here's a new video of mine, telling the story of a teenager who left the Islam and now calls herself an atheist. This is something that has never done in Turkey before. Nobody in Turkey dares to publish such videos, especially since the Islamist government of Erdogan and his party (Justice and Development Party), because they are soo aganist free speech but someone needs to show courage and speak his mind about religions, Islam, atheism and such. So I'm trying to be the voice of the turkish atheists.

Turkey is not like other muslim countries where such videos would wreak havoc. It is somehow secular but not much as european countries. So as long as I don't burn a Quran or draw Mohammad I guess I should be fine. Same goes with the girl in the video. You can stop worrying and enjoy the video now. Smiley

English subtitles are available for this video. Make sure you enable them:

I really love this video. I think it's great that there are more and more young people from Turkey and other muslim countries who start thinking. If only this thinking could also be made by old people. To me, I feel like atheism is more developed during the youth and if you don't start thinking at a young age well you stay in the close-minded religions. It's rare when it happens, though.

    Smiley Thanks for the video.
