How long before Hamza moves onto pre-suppositionalism. (yawn ....zzzzzz....) What we could then do is set him up in a debate with Sye Ten Bruggencate and leave them to spiral down into an quran vs bible infinite regress of 'how do you know your reason is reasonable without using reason which can only come from allah/yahweh?'.

Then the rest of us can all piss off down the pub :-)

That was so informative. The fact that there is no consensus among all people on whether or not the Qur'aan is sajj, a unique form of sajj, or it's own form only PROVES that the criteria that is used to judge the form of sajj is SUBJECTIVE. I understand though that for the 16 forms of poetry, there is still an objective metric, because the forms are modeled upon consistent syllables and patterns. Prose is a different story.

I know this is old, but should not Mr Tortoise - and probably others - have been arrested and charged with something? It feels to me as if they are deliberately trading a very fine line.

Nah, they get around the various things by saying they are only advising what should happen in an Islamic state not in Britain (which as you know isn't an Islamic state yet, inshallah they always say). After ten years or so they know their way around the free speech laws. on the twitter feed CEMB posted some tweets from apologists advising to avoid talking about killing of apostates etc to avoid authorities. on Islamic Awakening forums they have the infamous A4 code that the mods use to delete anything that could get them in trouble. They've worked their away around these things.

they wouldn't be liable for anything though because it's a hypothetical. They can say "In an Islamic state, all gays should be killed, but we aren't in an Islamic state so I don't advocate killing them here" and that's fine as far as the law goes.
