    Hey folks,

    We've received two enquiries from the media:

    1) A journalist for the French version of online magazine Slate (http://www.slateafrique.com/) is writing an article on atheism in Africa. He is looking for Ex-Muslims originally from African countries who can answer a few questions on the subject.

    2) A features writer from Barcroft Media would like to interview women in the UK who have left Islam and become atheists. She wants to explore the reasons why and the difficulties faced when leaving the religion.

    Two new requests for interviews with Ex-Muslims

    A journalist is working on a story for an Indian newspaper on being an atheist in Pakistan and would like to interview a couple of ex-Muslims on the difficulties/challenges of leaving the faith, what led them to take the decision and so on.

    If you or someone you know is willing to get in touch with the journalist, please email exmuslimcouncil@gmail.com.

    The journalist understands this may be a sensitive issue for some and will not reveal identities if that is the choice of the person interviewed.

    BBC Three Counties Radio is looking to talk about attitudes towards atheism primarily in South Asian countries such as India, Pakistan and Bangladesh on the back of the Afghan man granted asylum on the basis of his atheism.

    They are looking for anyone from Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire or Buckinghamshire who would be willing to speak to them about their experience as an atheist.

    It is for a programme this Sunday so please email exmuslimcouncil@gmail.com as soon as possible.

    I am so sorry that you are in the Deep South. I could not survive there, I tried.

    What kind of questions in terms of the 1; ?
    never grew up there just as the majority in here I grew up in the western world, so I would be just as ignorant in terms of Atheism in Africa, I have no idea if that even exist.
